Our 14,000 square-foot facility, built to reflect the exterior of a 19th century Valley farmstead, is in harmony with the site’s natural surroundings and Dayton’s attractive Historic District. Some galleries and museum operations are partially below ground level, minimizing their visual impact on the community. All levels are handicapped-accessible in the main facility.

Civil War Gallery Expansion
Through the generosity of private donors the Civil War Gallery was redesigned and expanded, representing the first major renovation of the Invincible Spirit Exhibit. The new look offers additional graphics and stories, along with interactive technology. A must see!
